About Southern Counties Heavy Horse Association
Southern Counties Heavy Horse Association exists to promote, support and celebrate heavy horses across the South of England. From ploughing and harnessing to driving, showing, timber work, ridden heavy horses and public demonstrations, the Association helps keep traditional skills alive while encouraging new generations to get involved.You do not need to own a heavy horse to be part of the Association. Members include owners, handlers, volunteers, families and supporters who all share a love of these magnificent animals.
